Responsibilities

  • Managing the overall communication function starting from creating the strategy, identifying the main key messages, creating tactical plans, and develop the needed content and content formats maintaining consistency, clarity and effectiveness.
  • Advancing and protecting the leadership positioning and Reputation that STS has gained both internally and externally while managing news cycles, and being proactive to identify and flag trends that may negatively impact corporate reputation.
  • Telling stories about STS, the latest achievements and offerings developed and onboarded in new ways that help generate thought leadership and positive perception toward STS among key external stakeholders.
  • Informing and engaging internal audiences through employee and executive communications strategies and tactics, and acting as a trusted advisor to provide executive support and counsel.
  • Generating momentum for STS commercial and consumer offerings as aligned with priorities, with emphasis on thought leadership and customer storytelling.
  • Cultivating a diverse mix of media and influencer relationships, while leveraging owned channels and earned media in innovative and creative ways.
  • Informing communications and business strategy by contributing Communications insights.
  • Ensuring strategic execution of the team priorities with responsibility for business performance and budget management, while acting as an advisor for leadership team; requires the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence and collaboration across the company.
  • Fostering an environment that promotes and values creativity, support and inclusion, where stakeholders from both external and internal audiences are kept informed and engaged with STS.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Communication strategy setting and tactical planning, media strategy and media relations.
  • Strategize and Develop Employee and executive internal communications.
  • Research, strategize and proactively garner media opportunities with a priority on national media.
  • Storytelling, thought leadership and messaging.
  • Crisis, issues, and change management communications.
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing Team and providing messages, and content.
  • Consulting on communications matters that impact business; growing industry and professional expertise.
  • Managing the production of marketing materials including, but not limited to: brochures, one-pagers, presentations, flyers, banners, regular newsletters, factsheets, stories, and other graphics.
  • Manage the content for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, maintaining a consistent social media strategy for optimal visibility;
  • Manage the content for Products Campaigns through all offline and digital channels. ·
  • Develops, writes and researches internal communications and / or press materials, news releases, Media & Public Relations advisories, pitch letters and press kits.
  • Work Closely with Departments Internal Communication Requirements and Objectives to better create effective plans to get the messages portrayed effectively.
  • Regular and Scheduled Reporting.

Requirements

  • Approximately 8-10 years of proven leadership in developing a corporate image strategy and solid corporate communications and PR experience, with meaningful international scope.
  • Awareness of and experience dealing external stakeholders. (Entities, Media, Public and Most Importantly Customers)
  • Experience managing media relations.
  • Experience leading employee and executive communication effort.
  • Literacy in digital communications techniques and social media engagement methods.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Business background and marketing experience.
  • Literacy in IT Solutions and Products and the technology industry is strongly preferred.
  • External experience in areas of Communications, media and influencer relations, journalism, integrated marketing (consumer, commercial), public affairs, issues management.
  • Writing Skills Proficiency in both Arabic and English Languages.
