Responsibilities:
- Directing ICT operations and setting priorities between system developments, maintenance and operations.
- The day-to-day management of the ICT organization of the utility, as well as support and move forward the implementation of a proposed ERP system.
- Advise and assist users in cloud backup procedures.
- Provide assistance to separating staff on backup and handover cloud storage space.
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate ICT systems, policies and procedures.
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Manage and report on allocation of ICT budget.
- Generate performance reports for operating systems.
- Assuring all ICT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network recovery plan and backup procedures.
- Administer network and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, virus protection, and email security.
- Consult with vendors and clients to integrate and update company technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in the support of ICT Systems and Software in a large
- Multinational organization (2 of them in a managerial level).
- Minimum 3 years in implementing and supporting cloud-based business
- Supporting suite.
- Experience working with network and server management support.
- Experience in the implementation of ERP systems.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Flexible working hours.
- Initiative, sound judgment and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with staff members of different national and cultural backgrounds.
- Industry certification (MCSE), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ certification, or other related IT professional certification; must meet all state-required licensure/certification. Preference given to candidates with the following: CASP, CEH, CISSP, GSEC, GCIH, Sec+, Net+, A+, Cloud+, CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCDA, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, MTA.
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, hardware, and upgrades.
