Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of actuarial analysts.
- Oversee the development, pricing, and evaluation of life insurance products.
- Review actuarial models and results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the preparation of financial reports, reserves, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, underwriting, and product development.
- Present actuarial findings to senior management and assist in strategic decision-making.
- Improve and maintain actuarial tools, processes, and models for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant actuarial standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 5 years of actuarial experience, preferably in life insurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in actuarial modeling.
- Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, AXIS) and/or programming tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, R, Python).
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
