Develop and execute an outreach strategy to identify promising opportunities for private sector partnerships in target locations.
Conduct field visits in target communities to implement the outreach strategy, including initiating contacts and managing all follow-up communications.
Coordinate outreach within the hospitality and tourism sectors, including tourism and hotel associations, regional trade and commercial associations, and other private sector organizations.
Obtain and negotiate hiring commitments for women and youth in the private sector.
BA in social science, political science, business, international development, or related discipline, MA highly preferred.
At least ten years of experience working on social and youth development projects.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with private sector partners.
Expertise in project management, including the ability to identify and establish priorities and plan workflow.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and exercise sound judgment in response to complex and sensitive situations.
Strong interpersonal skills appropriate for operating effectively in a local community.
Knowledge and experience in, and passion for promoting the advancement of youth development programs, including youth employability, education, civic participation, and leadership development.
Ability to perform in a high-energy environment, with a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, including humility and the thoughtfulness to work effectively with others in a collaborative workspace.
Interest in gender and working with marginalized populations.
Must be willing to work in Aqaba, Ma’an-Petra, Jerash, Ajloun, and Zerqa throughout the project.
