Responsibilities
- Research, analyze and evaluate the latest Oracle application development trends and new software functionalities.
- Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures.
- Review code for potential performance issues and anomalies.
- Create efficient, scalable, reusable database code using SQL or PL/SQL.
- Create intuitive, logical user interfaces using Oracle Forms.
- Accountable for optimization-focused design to ensure that all code is written with high-availability and high-impact.
- Develop modular and reusable code to reduce the efforts and development period during succeeding developments.
- Create and design databases, views, stored procedures and user-defined functions of varying complexity with a “best practices” approach to keys, indices, and relationships in Oracle Database.
- Develop application specification and ensure compliance to all program standards and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the head of department/product manager/project manager to prepare timeframe.
- Develop unit-tested code Integrate application modules based on database architecture
- Identify, analyze and fix any issues or problems to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering or related subjects, preferably Computer science or I.T.
- Masters in Engineering or related subjects, preferably Computer science or I.T.
- Hands on experience in customizing ERP applications (At least 2 years).
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Familiar with Oracle ecosystem.
- Technologies: Oracle forms 6i,10g,12C, Oracle Report 6i,10g,12C, Visual SourceSafe.
- Framework: Oracle Report, Oracle Forms Builder.
- Database: Oracle 10g/11g/12c (Languages My SQL/ PLSQL and SQL).
- Platforms: Oracle.
- Experience with Unit and functional testing is desired.
