Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select IT vendors and suppliers based on company requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring long-term collaboration.
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage procurement processes for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and support contracts, ensuring alignment with the organization's technology strategy.
  • Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to establish budgets, forecast procurement needs, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and technology requirements.
  • Evaluate market trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and invoices related to IT procurement.
  • Mitigate risks by conducting due diligence and ensuring vendor compliance with security, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed procurement documentation, including vendor agreements and performance reports.
  • Manage the procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to contract renewal or termination.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, or supply chain management, with a focus on IT products and services.
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing contracts with IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess vendor proposals and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Knowledge of contract management and vendor evaluation methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and vendors.
