Responsibilities
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process for local entities.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local GAAP and corporate policies.
Review and validate financial statements, journal entries, and intercompany eliminations.
Coordinate with finance teams across departments or business units to gather financial data.
Prepare and submit consolidated reports to regional or global headquarters.
Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
Monitor and implement updates to accounting standards and reporting regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and system efficiency.
Supervise and mentor junior accountants or reporting staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, with consolidation experience.
Strong knowledge of local GAAP and familiarity with IFRS or other international standards.
Proficiency in financial reporting and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Proven leadership and team supervision experience.
