Education For Employment (EFE-Jordan)
Education For Employment-Jordan (EFE-Jordan) is alocally-registered non-profit organization established in
2006. We lead a national initiative to create economic opportunities for unemployed youth in Jordan.
Our method begins with an analysis of the labor market. We partner with private-sector companies across Jordan – from
global multinationals to small, local businesses – to identify their hiring and skills needs and design targeted training
programs leading to direct employment or micro-entrepreneurship opportunities for unemployed
youth.
We operate in all governorates. Our beneficiaries include both Jordanian and Syrian nationals, as well as university and
non-university students. EFE-Jordan has trained over 9,500 youth since inception through September 2019, over 64% of
whom are women. Over 85% of our graduates have been linked with jobs.
