Responsibilities 

• Coordinate and schedule data collection.
• Travel nationally to collect data and observe practice.
• Interview key stakeholders and conduct focus groups.
• Analyze research data, address the research questions, and write reports.
• Conduct library or archival searches for materials relevant to the research and prepare literature reviews.
• Prepare advanced word processing documents with draft chapters of research summaries and content for the final publication.
• Summarize project reports articles and existing research into a comprehensive document.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager in complex data analysis for project use and publication content.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of quality assurance and continuous Improvement.
• Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the Strategic Plan of the organization.
• Understanding of Cultural Sensitivity:
• Consultants will come into contact with staff and students from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
• It is expected that mutual respect, cultural awareness, and cultural sensitivity will form the basis of the professional working relationship.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in women's studies, social sciences, project management or related areas.
• Proficient in academic research (specifically focusing on feminist and ethnographic research)
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to self-manage to meet deadlines.
• Proactive, constructive, and dynamic personality.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel to the field on a daily basis as requested.
