Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the annual budget, cost forecasts, and financial plans for the manufacturing operation.
• Oversee product/manufacturing costing, standard costing, and variance analysis (material, labor, overhead).
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and relationships with banks and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, and internal financial controls.
• Lead cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives in coordination with Operations and Procurement.
• Supervise the finance team (Cost Accountant, Accountant, Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer) and review their work for accuracy and compliance.
• Support investment appraisals, capital expenditure requests, and business case analysis for the factory.
• Liaise with corporate/head-office finance on consolidated reporting and policy alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
• 7+ years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong background in cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
