Responsibilities

• Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based production and non-production environments.
• Monitor system performance, including CPU, memory, storage, networking, and services, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Manage and support databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and Redis, including backup, recovery, performance tuning,
• and replication.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Shell/Bash, Python, Ansible, APIs, and other relevant technologies.
• Support and administer Docker and Kubernetes environments, including deployments, scaling, monitoring, and cluster
• management.
• Manage clustered and distributed systems with a focus on high availability, failover, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and support Hadoop ecosystem technologies and Big Data platforms.
• Troubleshoot and maintain technologies such as HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Airflow, Superset, and Trino/Presto.
   
   
   
   
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana for proactive infrastructure management and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deployments, infrastructure improvements, and production support activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and operational workflows while validating outputs before implementation.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
   
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux/System Administration, Database Administration, Big Data Infrastructure, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Strong Linux administration skills, including system configuration, networking, storage management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and Redis databases.
• Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting; Python and Ansible experience is highly preferred.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, clustering, high availability, replication, and failover mechanisms.
• Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, ports, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, Kafka, and HBase.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and collaborate with multiple technical teams.
• An AI-first mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
