Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the waste oil collection fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring vehicle movements.
Monitor fuel usage, vehicle mileage, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize fleet efficiency.
Ensure all vehicles are maintained in excellent working condition, coordinating with the maintenance team for routine checks and repairs.
Supervise, train, and evaluate drivers and maintenance staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
Ensure all fleet operations comply with local regulations, including vehicle licensing, waste transport permits, and environmental regulations.
Develop and optimize collection routes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, driver logs, and other essential documentation.
Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization.
Track and analyze fleet data to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation management, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in fleet management or logistics are a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
Proven track record in supervising a team of drivers and maintenance personnel.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in using fleet management software and other relevant IT tools.
Knowledge of local transportation regulations and environmental laws.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English.
