Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the waste oil collection fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring vehicle movements.
• Monitor fuel usage, vehicle mileage, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize fleet efficiency.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in excellent working condition, coordinating with the maintenance team for routine checks and repairs.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate drivers and maintenance staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure all fleet operations comply with local regulations, including vehicle licensing, waste transport permits, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and optimize collection routes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, driver logs, and other essential documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization.
• Track and analyze fleet data to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation management, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in fleet management or logistics are a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
• Proven track record in supervising a team of drivers and maintenance personnel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in using fleet management software and other relevant IT tools.
• Knowledge of local transportation regulations and environmental laws.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English.
