Responsibilities

• Lead a team in testing new and customized ATS applications as per client requirements.
• Coordinate with the team to conduct in-depth testing for modified and new systems.
• Ensure the Testing Team provides support to Implementers as requested by the PMO Director or Implementers.
• Supervise team members and assist the Education Sector Head in performance appraisals.
• Define time-specific goals and Key Result Areas (KRAs) for team members.
• Motivate and guide team members to achieve team objectives and identify areas for improvement.
• Support HR in hiring and training new recruits.
• Address team queries, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication of organizational strategies.
• Monitor team performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and developers to ensure alignment with project and testing objectives.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Analyze functional specifications and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Implement testing processes for new and existing ATS products to meet client needs.
• Assess applications for usability, functionality, and potential flaws in technology, design, or implementation.
• Monitor the debugging process and ensure effective defect resolution.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Mandatory).
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in software development and QA methodologies.
• Strong experience with QA tools, test strategies, and automation testing.
• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA).
• ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Analyst.
• QA Tools: Quality Center, ClearQuest, Requisite Pro, Test Director, JIRA, Selenium, QTP.
• Programming Languages: Java, SQL/PLSQL.
• Databases: Oracle 11g/12c.
