Responsibilities

• Own the overall technical architecture and engineering direction of the AI-native enterprise platform.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and practical technical solutions.
• Design and develop reusable platform capabilities across AI, backend, infrastructure, data, and enterprise integrations.
• Lead the selection and implementation of AI models, frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and development technologies.
• Design and implement AI solutions involving LLMs, AI agents, tool calling, RAG, and context engineering.
• Develop and maintain secure integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and external services.
• Establish security-by-design principles across the platform, including authentication, authorization, identity, access control, and data protection.
• Make key technical decisions related to scalability, reliability, performance, privacy, and cybersecurity.
• Remain hands-on by architecting, prototyping, coding, and delivering critical platform components.
• Conduct technical architecture and code reviews while maintaining high standards for testing, documentation, quality, and maintainability.
• Plan and oversee technical delivery across the engineering team and ensure alignment with product objectives.
• Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate business challenges into effective solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to building the future engineering team, technical culture, and development practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Proven experience designing, architecting, and delivering production-grade software and platforms.
• Significant recent hands-on experience building and deploying AI/LLM-powered applications.
• Strong backend and full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Experience working with commercial and/or open-source LLMs.
• Strong experience with AI agents, tool calling, RAG, and context engineering.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, distributed systems, and scalable software architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven experience taking products or platforms from 0 to 1 and bringing them into production.
• Strong understanding of secure software architecture, secure API design, and data protection.
• Good knowledge of authentication, authorization, identity, access control, and threat modelling.
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to make pragmatic architecture and technology decisions.
• Experience with enterprise cybersecurity, Zero Trust, AI security, prompt injection, or agent security is highly preferred.
• Experience in privacy, data governance, or regulated and security-sensitive environments is a strong plus.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex enterprise requirements into practical technical solutions.
