Responsibilities:
Provide planning, advisement, insurance and investment services to clients to meet their vision.
Analyze the company’s current financial status, going into enough detail to understand their specific needs.
Work with a team of staff to keep track of records and file updates.
Maintain working relationships with a variety of clients and/or departments, and keep them apprised of any financial developments.
Act as a first-contact liaison to insurance providers and other financial professionals.
Develop financial reports and strategies and present these plans to clients or executives.
Staying updated on current regulations, economic changes and other factors that may affect individuals or businesses financially.
Provide financial planning and investment advisory services.
Develop and execute retirement planning.
Implement risk management and tax planning strategies.
Prepare financial policy and procedure documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
strong data analysis skills effectively develop strategies for that business to meet their financial goals.
An advanced understanding of economics is necessary for a Financial Planner to understand and predict the market to have a greater likelihood of accomplishing company goals.
Excel at both written and verbal communication.
Familiar with the law if they want to successful.
3-6 years experience in the financial industry.
CPA and CFP certification is a plus.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with financial planning software.
Results-oriented mindset.
Comprehensive knowledge of topics related to financial planning.
