Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the bank’s strategic planning process in alignment with its vision and mission.
• Collaborate with senior management to define strategic objectives and KPIs using the Balanced Scorecard approach.
• Oversee feasibility studies, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and implement the bank’s sustainability strategy aligned with long-term goals.
• Prepare and execute short- and medium-term tactical plans supporting strategic objectives.
• Oversee strategic budgeting to ensure alignment between financial resources and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate across departments to integrate sustainability into strategic planning.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices locally and internationally.Lead and manage the strategic planning, sustainability, and performance monitoring teams.
   
   
• Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities for team members.
   
   
   
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the department.
   
• Monitor strategic initiatives and sustainability KPIs to track progress and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
• Analyze performance results and recommend improvement actions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to gather inputs and feedback.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability and transparency.
• Identify risks related to strategic initiatives and sustainability practices.
  
   
   
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sustainability, Environmental Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, sustainability, or relevant leadership roles.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Strong understanding of organizational structures and functions.
• Strong financial acumen (budgeting, cost analysis, financial statements).
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and long-term planning ability.
• Deep knowledge of sustainability practices and integration into business operations.
