Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives with the development team.
- Ensure dependencies, blockers, and risks are visible and managed early.

Own, refine, and prioritize the team backlog, ensuring clarity of requirements and alignment with business objectives.

Act as the key link between business stakeholders, design, and development teams during delivery and post-delivery phases.

Ensure developers are involved early in discovery and scoping activities to reduce rework.

Work with Product Managers to keep documentation clear, structured, accessible, and maintained as a single source of truth.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers and business teams to define scope and clarify priorities.

Track team progress and support accountability for delivery commitments.

Anticipate and resolve issues where possible, escalating when necessary.

Collect feedback from users, business teams, and developers to improve product quality and processes.

Help establish structured requirements-gathering processes and quality checklists to identify risks early and ensure successful product delivery.

Contribute insights into opportunities, pain points, and technical improvements.

Ensure the team's work aligns with the broader product vision and business goals.

Work with Product Managers to align initiatives with the overall product roadmap.
Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Product Owner or Delivery role (experience in Mobile Money or Fintech is an advantage).

Strong experience in backlog management, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration.

Proven ability to balance attention to detail with delivery in fast-paced environments.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and dependencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical teams.

Self-motivated, proactive, and confident when engaging with stakeholders and engineering teams.

Curious problem-solver with strong business acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.

Demonstrated ability to support the successful delivery of projects involving multiple stakeholders.
