Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mechanical design solutions for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across large-scale and healthcare projects.
• Prepare and review mechanical design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications in line with project requirements and design standards.
• Develop and coordinate mechanical BIM models using Revit, ensuring integration with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
• Utilize CAD tools for detailed design and construction documentation.
• Perform HVAC load calculations and system analysis using HAP and develop fire protection designs using Fire Elite.
• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including IPC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and SBC.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve design issues and ensure constructability.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering studies, and technical coordination meetings.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior mechanical engineers.
• Respond to site inquiries and provide technical support during construction phases when required. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–9 years of proven experience in mechanical design, preferably on large-scale, high-profile, and healthcare projects.
• Strong proficiency in CAD and Revit for mechanical design and documentation.
• In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Solid understanding and practical application of relevant codes and standards, including IPC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and SBC.
• Hands-on experience using HAP and Fire Elite software.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
