- Collaborate closely with Product teams to deliver high-quality features aligned with defined scope and product acceptance criteria.
- Work with Design teams to create user-centric, high-quality UI and UX experiences.
- Design, architect, and implement scalable backend services with ultra-low latency and high availability.
- Participate in technical and design reviews, and produce clear architecture documentation, API specifications, and technical documentation.
- Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and safe deployment and rollback mechanisms.
- Implement observability best practices including metrics, logging, tracing, and definition of SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Apply security-by-design principles, including industry best practices, secure coding standards, and threat modeling.
- Design and optimize multi-tenant data models; enhance performance through database tuning, caching, and queue optimization.
- Support operational excellence by participating in on-call rotations, conducting postmortems, and reporting findings to engineering leadership.
- Mentor and coach peers, contributing reusable components, templates, and best practices to improve team efficiency and quality.
- Leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and accelerate development workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or large-scale digital platforms.
- Native-level proficiency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong experience with Node.js microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, caching solutions, event-driven systems, containerization, infrastructure as code, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience delivering API-first, scalable SaaS solutions within KPI- and OKR-driven environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to governance standards, including data privacy, security, compliance, and auditability.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of delivering reliable, well-documented, and error-free solutions.
- Strong familiarity with AI and LLM tools, with awareness of data security and responsible usage.
