- Writing and reviewing great-quality code
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the client’s needs in the context of the project
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and toolsets
- Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Being able to lead/support UAT and production rollouts.
- Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for a given module/task, and being able to justify it.
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
- Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs
- Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
- Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested designs/technologies meet the requirements.
Qualifications
- IBM API Connect, IBM App Connect
- Must have Skills: IBM Integration Bus, IBM App Connect Enterprise,
- Strong knowledge in preparing high-level and low-level designs using IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IIB 10.0, IBM WebSphere WMB, and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
- Strong knowledge in developing solutions using message flows & message sets, DFDL.
- Strong knowledge of ESQL Hands-on experience.
- Good Knowledge of any one or more RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) development experience.
- Expertise in Monitoring, Error handling, and Troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience on other IBM integration tools like IBM DataPower, API Connect, and Cloud Pak for integration is a plus • Good to know about Microservices, and DevOps.
- Strong knowledge in Designing, Building, and Securing APIs Using IBM APIC v2018/v10.
- Create reusable OpenAPI Specification templates.
- Good understanding of Oauth 2.0, JWT/JWE/JWS Encryption/Decryption, and signing is a must.
- Hands-on experience with other IBM integration tools like IBM MQ, IIB, IBM App Connect Enterprise, and Cloud Pak for integration is a plus.
- Expertise in Monitoring, Error handling, and Troubleshooting.
- Experience working on time-sensitive production issues.
- Experience working with DevOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of API Connect administration is a plus.
- Ability to learn/ work on other API management products like (WS02, APOGEE, etc).
- Sun to Thu work week as per client work week
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Very good team player having exposure to working with global cross-culture teams.
