Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for grants and other funding sources.
Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and report variances to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Track and manage financial aspects of grants, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with donor requirements.
Prepare financial reports and statements for grant proposals and audits.
Ensure that financial activities are compliant with the organization's internal policies, nonprofit accounting standards, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist with audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary financial documentation.
Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate tracking of all incoming donations, grants, and revenues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nonprofit finance or accounting.
Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices, including fund accounting.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong ethical standards and commitment to the mission of the nonprofit sector.
