Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that customer solutions are delivered on time, within scope, to budget, and to the required quality standards as defined by company’s implementation methodology.
Build and maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure smooth project delivery and exceed high customer satisfaction.
Launch, scope and manage a diversity of projects using technical implementation/integration resources and skill sets from within the PS Division and local partners as may be appropriate.
Remove blockers and impediments that interfere with project progress and report to management when necessary.
Manage and ensure the change control process is being applied as per the company’s methodology.
Responsible for the scheduling of required resources and maintain accurate planning using our project management tool (Clarizen).
Work with the sales team and the Solution Architect to define solution pre-contract signing, provide a realistic implementation approach and PS effort estimates.
Work very closely with Product Management, Development, Customer Support, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Responsible for project tracking, monitoring, control, and success from schedule sign-off to delivery in the production environment.
Take a pro-active lead position in complex initiatives of strategic importance within the organization Motivate, and communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
Qualifications
Proven experience in the banking domain with a strong Digital implementation’s exposure.
A solid project management background with extensive experience with a proven and successful track record of working in a variety of customer facing situations for either a Consultancy company or a Software and Services company providing solutions in a Retail Banking and/or Wholesale Banking and/or a financial environment.
Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and contribute to/drive design discussion
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the customer organization.
Familiarity and ability to drive projects to completion using Agile/Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
Have a thorough understanding of the Project P&L responsibility, managing, controlling and monitoring project progress against time and budget.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills using the English-language.
High energy level and strive to serve customer first.
High level of attention to detail and strong aptitude for learning the company products.
Honours Degree or Diploma in Information Science, Computer Science or any related field.
A formal internationally recognized/certified Project Management qualification (i.e. PRINCE II/PMP or equivalent).
