Scouting for bids, tenders, and opportunities to gain a business contract for our company.
Identify opportunities for bid submissions and raise them with the senior management team.
Conduct research and brainstorm key points to include in the bid.
Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators), knowing the company’s operating and profit margins, and understanding the clients’ specific requirements.
Arranging scope priorities per opportunity and arranging opportunities on a high-level based on available resources.
Communicating and arranging the task delegation to all internal stakeholders; All the departments that will provide the required information, data, or work to successfully compile the bid requirements.
Summarize and report the bid opportunities and their critical definition points to the direct manager.
Conduct team briefings once bids have been secured.
Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bids.
Responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during, and after the bid has been submitted.
Identify & implement innovative ways for improving the efficiency of the proposal process.
Creating and engineering proposals from scratch, and the possession of strong bilingual properties in Arabic and English to maintain a flexible narrative; both for creating simple terminology for clients to understand, and complex terminology to tackle financial, legal, and business tones as required.
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
Work closely with project managers, operations, commercial, and senior personnel.
Coordinating with the support teams to create the visual or aesthetic aspects of proposals and refreshing these themes to keep the proposals lively.
Maintaining tabs and records on pending opportunities and tracking information as well as updates on applications that were submitted.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Business Economics, or any other related field.
7+ years of experience in proposal development and project management.
Proven skills in writing and editing proposal content within a complex business environment.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
Excellent level of proficiency with MS Office Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Excellent writing and content creation Skills.
Ability to deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer agreed-upon requirements and timeframes.
