Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, collaborating with departments to provide financial insights.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Assist in preparing tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
Monitor and review expenses, revenues, and other financial data for accuracy and completeness.
Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.
Maintain organized financial files and documentation, ensuring adherence to record-keeping policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting or a related role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP or IFRS).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
