Responsibilities
Strategic Security Development: Design and execute comprehensive security operations plans that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with end customers, vendors, and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on security initiatives.
Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Threat Intelligence Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
Audit and Compliance Oversight: Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity controls, recommending enhancements and corrective actions as needed.
Security Operations Leadership: Leverage extensive experience in Security Operations Management and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to guide and support team members in achieving security objectives.
Client Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present detailed progress reports to clients, clearly outlining assumptions, dependencies, and areas for further focus.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity leadership roles, demonstrating a solid track record of success in security operations management.
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex security systems and protocols that address modern security challenges.
Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of current security concepts, threats, and trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively within the organization.
Collaborative Mindset: Strong ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating independence and initiative.
Adaptability and Learning Agility: Quick learner with a capacity to grasp the overall solution architecture, technology landscape, and stakeholder requirements, facilitating informed decision-making.
