Responsibilities
Proactively identify potential sellers through market research, networking, and using data-driven approaches. Reach out to these sellers, presenting the benefits of joining our platform.
Develop and deliver persuasive pitches tailored to each seller. Highlight the unique advantages of our marketplace, such as our customer reach, technological support, and growth opportunities.
Negotiate commission rates and other terms of partnership in a manner that is agreeable to both the seller and the company. Ensure that the terms are competitive and in line with industry standards.
Guide new sellers through the onboarding process. This includes assisting them with any necessary paperwork, explaining platform features, and ensuring they understand our operational procedures.
Work closely with sellers to ensure their products are listed on the platform. Offer advice on product presentation, descriptions, pricing, and categorization to maximize sales potential.
Regularly review seller performance on the platform. Provide feedback and support to help them optimize their sales and presence in the marketplace.
Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities. Provide feedback to the internal teams to help shape the marketplace strategy and features.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Proven experience in account management, sales, or a similar role, preferably in an e-commerce or online marketplace environment.
Excellent negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and seller opportunities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of organizational and time-management skills.
