Test Automation Engineer

- Preparation of Traceability Matrices.
- Monitoring the Test Execution.
- Involved in Test Execution and Defect Management.
- Walk through of Test Results for Business Signoff.
- Defect Tracking and Escalating the Defects with the Management.
- Coordination with the Business, Products, Delivery, and Engineering teams on the project activities.
- Preparation of MIS for the basis of the respective modules and the business requirement.
- Prepare and execute detailed test scripts based on requirements, validate the end results, and document the defects identified during the testing cycle.
- To test system behavior and validate against expected behavior through the execution of positive, negative, and regression test cases, and will document the end results in the defects tracker.
- To identify field/format/value errors during System Integration Testing and User Acceptance.
- Testing cycles and drive resolution through the Technical Teams.
- To work closely with the Test Lead, technical teams, and other internal and external teams to ascertain testing requirements.
- Report and escalate issues wherever necessary to get timely closure of raised defects and achieve interface certification.
- To ensure compilation and documentation of test results with history and version maintenance of issue logs and defect tracker.
- Monitoring of defects and coordination with relevant teams for driving resolutions as per the severity levels.
- Test cycle execution within agreed timelines and as per the test plan.
- To ensure Zero errors prior to the implementation of batch and online interfaces in production.
Qualifications
- Must have strong knowledge and understanding of the Cards and Payments domain
- Must have strong technical knowledge of Testing tools such as Way4 Test Generator, Product Inspector, Soap UI, Postman, ILIAD, MC, Visa simulators, etc.
- Must have hands-on experience in testing NI applications such as Way4, DataMart, Falcon, Card Control, PCMS, DCMS, etc.
- Must have experience in Systems integration testing using standard ISO 8583 / 87, ISO 8583 / 93, NDC / DDC protocols.
- Must have experience in Payment scheme certifications
- Must have experience in Systems Integration Testing of Web services and XML interfaces using tools such as SOAPUI, POSTMAN, etc.
- Must have testing experience in any of the Card Management platforms and switches.
- Must be well versed in Various Test simulators such as ILIAD, MasterCard simulator, Visa Simulator, FinSim, etc.
- Must have experience in validating Settlements and reconciliation of various incoming and outgoing financial files.
- Must possess excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and influencing internal and external entities.
- Experience in Agile testing approaches – e.g. TDD, BDD and ATDD etc.
- Preferred prior experience in Data migration, Mapping and Data validations.
