Responsibilities
Organize the daily activities of the relevant personnel in the sales force.
Implement and monitor a system for ensuring sales personnel follow the agreed Journey Cycle.
Ensure each salesman carries a sales presentation folder that contains all mandatory items i.e. Record Cards, Price Lists, General Market Promotion details, Presentation Cards or Promotions, Order forms etc.
Conduct on-the-job sales training with each salesman.
Training priorities are to be discussed with the Sales Manager.
Ensure all salesmen maintain good sales discipline.
Monitor Branch’s sales performance against agreed sales targets.
Recommend action to rectify sales problems or to improve sales opportunities.
Monitor account collection to ensure adherence to the company’s credit policy.
Collect and report all market information that could directly affect sales revenue.
A minimum of 75% of the working week should be spent in the market.
Specifically, control the effectiveness of the general market promotions.
Set specific objectives and sales targets for salesmen on a monthly basis.
