- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement real-time data processing features tailored to dynamic business requirements.
- Architect and maintain scalable ETL pipelines drawing data from APIs, streams, and databases.
- Implement secure, privacy-compliant solutions ensuring data integrity.
- Monitor industry trends in real-time data processing and propose aligned improvements.
- Share expertise and collaborate with teams on data engineering and project matters.
- Evaluate, select, and implement tools/strategies for effective real-time data integration.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial experience in data engineering with focus on real-time processing.
- Proficient in Scala programming.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing for real-time (e.g. Spark Streaming, Akka Streams).
- Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and its data components.
- Solid skills in SQL, query tuning, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or MySQL).
- Experience with orchestrating data flows using tools like Apache Flink, Kafka, or similar.
- In-depth understanding of data warehousing and modeling concepts.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
