Responsibilities
- Lead the backend operations, enhancements, upgrades…
- Assess the current state of the platform, and provide feedback about gaps
- Assess the readiness of the platform. How far is the platform from launch kick-off
- Review the platform’s design, process, and workflow.
- Focus on backend track, as the platform is backend dependent
- Work very close with backend team to ensure BE track is well structured and developed
- Put hands in the backend work. Develop and code, to ensure backend is functioning perfectly
- Work close with a team of six – full-time, top-notch – developers to ensure the platform is properly working.
- Expand the platform to serve multiple industries
- Evolve the platform to become a payment gateway (PSP)
- Ensure platform’s flexibility to integrate with 3rdparties
- Keep open channel with business, to ensure business requirements are translated to technology.
Qualifications
- Has 10 years of experience.
- Has 5 out of the 10 years of experience are in the POS platform environment or similar nature.
- Strong experience in NoSQL database – Firebase.
- Strong experience in NodeJS.
