Senior Structural Engineer

- Lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of structural steel and reinforced concrete structures.
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, BS).
- Conduct structural assessments, load calculations, and material selection.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling for structural components.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Review and approve drawings, models, and construction documents.
- Provide guidance on structural integrity, safety, and value engineering.
- Participate in site inspections, quality control, and problem resolution during construction.
- Utilize software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD for structural design and analysis.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in structural design, specifically in steel and concrete structures.
- Strong knowledge of design codes such as ACI, AISC, BS, and Eurocodes.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, Tekla).
- Experience in high-rise buildings, bridges, industrial structures, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide technical solutions under tight deadlines.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, SE, or Chartered Engineer) is a plus.
