Business Intelligence Engineer

- Collaborate with business users to gather and define requirements for Business Intelligence projects.
- Organize, analyze, and evaluate data and datasets for BI projects, ensuring data accuracy through validation.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards.
- Incorporate data visualization best practices to ensure effective communication of insights.
- Develop high-quality data visualizations communicating trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Modify & Analyse existing reports, extracts, and dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
- Translate complex data into intuitive and engaging visual representations.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the technical feasibility and optimal performance of dashboards.
- Capability to adapt to work in different environments and business fields.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Up to 2 years of experience in the Business Intelligence domain
- Advanced Experience with Power BI for up to 2 years.
- Experience with data querying and modeling with SQL and Power BI (Power Query) is a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and data presentation skills.
- Advanced DAX and M query capabilities.
- Advanced Excel skills [Mainly for data validation].
- Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.
- Experience in the banking field is a plus.
