Structural Design Engineer

- Develop and create structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Utilize engineering principles and software tools to analyze and optimize structural components.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural designs within overall project requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input to enhance project outcomes.
- Conduct structural analysis and simulations to assess the performance of designs under various conditions.
- Evaluate and recommend materials, construction methods, and design modifications for optimal project outcomes.
- Ensure that all structural designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Communicate design concepts and recommendations effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conduct quality checks on design work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis for a variety of projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of relevant building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
