Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the environment, health, safety (Sustainability) systems and programs, in accordance with company Principle and Practices.
- Strategies Implementation: Implement the Sustainability activities and plans, according to Sustainability policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the Sustainability management system and programs.
- Ensure that procedures are appropriate to the risk profile of the factory and accepted.
- Ensure contractor's compliance with Sustainability legal requirements.
- Develop and implement Sustainability training modules, by analyzing the training needs, and maintaining training records of employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Provide timely reporting of Sustainability performance indicators to factory management.
- Participate in Sustainability projects, by providing clarity on the integration of Sustainability requirements in the design, construction/installation, and commissioning of new and/or revamped buildings, engineering works, machinery, and equipment.
- Coordinate programs to reduce waste and emissions and minimize the use of energy and natural resources, by monitoring and analyzing current usage.
- Coordinate the accident investigation, analysis, and reporting and maintain records of all incidents/accidents.
- Perform audits as support auditor, to assess risks, analyze data, draw conclusions, and suggest solutions.
- Coach and/ or provide technical advice to others and coordinate external resources.
Qualifications
- University degree in Science/Engineering. Major in Sustainability (Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environment Engineering).
- 2 - 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a detailed understanding of legal requirements and applicable standards (e.g. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001).
