Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Manage network servers and technology tools.
- Set up accounts and workstations.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Configure networking hardware.
- Replace faulty network hardware components when necessary.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that users encounter.
- Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
- Assist with the configuration of new software and hardware.
- Manage and execute technology-related projects.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure IT infrastructure does not interrupt business operations.
Qualifications
- SQL and PL/SQL expertise.
- Expertise in any core banking systems.
- Proficiency in API integrations.
- Oracle Linux administration.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
Certificates
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
