Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance business performance and innovation.
- Lead IT governance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory requirements.
IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee the daily performance of IT systems, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Manage cloud services, networks, hardware, software, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and routinely tested.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and best practices.
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and security incidents.
- Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders to maintain compliance (ISO, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc., if applicable).
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee third-party contracts, licensing agreements, and vendor relationships.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
Project Management & Digital Transformation
- Plan, prioritize, and manage major IT projects, such as ERP implementation, system upgrades, or software integration.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.
- Evaluate and optimize IT workflows, processes, and automation opportunities.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8–12+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity programs, and enterprise systems.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), virtualization, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience with IT service management tools (ITIL certification is a plus).
- Experience managing ERP, CRM, database systems, or SaaS platforms.
