Responsibilities
- Automate tasks and implement IaC using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor system performance, conduct tuning and capacity planning, and maintain observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications for deployment and scalability.
- Implement security best practices (IAM, secrets management, compliance) and collaborate with software engineers to ensure stable, secure deployments.
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure; manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related field, with expertise in major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Solid background in Linux system administration, shell scripting, and experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash; good understanding of networking (DNS, VPNs, load balancing, security); and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
