Responsibilities

  • Ability to follow up on project performance and ensure alignment with established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project requirements.
  • Experience assisting the Project Manager in supervising and managing on-site construction activities, including daily work coordination and planning.
  • Skilled in conducting regular site inspections, evaluating subcontractor performance, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors, advise the Project Manager on issues arising during construction, and coordinate rectification and handover processes.
  • Capable of organizing work plans, scheduling construction tasks, monitoring engineering projects, and reviewing deliverables with a focus on timely execution.
  • Strong understanding of HSE standards, with the ability to proactively promote safety, liaise with QHSE teams, and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
  • Proactive in identifying delays or deviations from plans, conducting daily briefings, and implementing corrective actions to minimize project impact.
  • Ability to assign tasks, mentor project teams, and maintain effective communication with the Project Manager and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
  • Skilled in preparing and issuing technical documentation such as shop drawings and coordinating their submission and approval with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent, with 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction and project execution.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management, Risk Management, Quality Control, and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
  • Skilled in coordinating with internal teams (e.g., QHSE) and subcontractors, conducting meetings, and managing project logistics and reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, supervise site work, evaluate training needs, and motivate staff to meet project goals.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, planning, time management, and computer proficiency, with a commitment to discipline and compliance.
