Responsibilities
• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for products, including
user guides, technical manuals, and online help.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather
information and understand product details.
• Ensure that documentation is clear, concise, and easy to understand for both technical
and non-technical users.
• Develop and adhere to documentation standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Edit and proofread documents for accuracy, grammar, and consistency.
• Manage documentation projects, including timelines, deliverables, and resources.
• Utilize documentation tools and content management systems to organize and publish
documentation.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve documentation quality and
user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure documentation is
current and relevant.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on using and maintaining documentation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Documentation Specialist, Technical Writer, or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems (e.g., MadCap
Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word).
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical information.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of software development and IT industry trends is a plus.
