Responsibilities:
- Conduct sourcing investments, analysis, and execution of investment opportunities across sectors including due diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring and negotiation, and creation of investment committee materials.
- Prepare investment research summaries (economic and market trends) by compiling advisory reports to assist investment team in recommending investment decisions on the portfolio.
- Support the monitoring of the performance of investments portfolios and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in presenting periodic updates on the performance of the investments portfolio.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to achieve the portfolio goals and objectives.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities and develop contingency plans to address these risks.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling on direct equity investments to provide insights into company performance, growth, and profitability.
- Co-manage the coordination and planning of the annual budget and multi-year financial planning process.
- Collaborate with other senior executives to define strategic business goals and objectives and manage overall business performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as investors, creditors, and bankers.
- Establish effective and well-organized investment processes.
- Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
- Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies.
- Attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements, and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes.
- Compiling financial date into reports for other team members and stake holders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or equivalent is required, MBA is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar field.
- Professional Certification related to Finance / Accounting ( e.g.,CFA, CME or CPA) is advantageous.
- Exposure and interest in private investments.
- Relevant work experience in (Family Investment office, Investment Banking, Financial Advisory, Private Equity).
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to conduct market/business research, synthesize data, and clearly communicate insights
- Good report writing in both Arabic and English as well as strong presentation and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
