Responsibilities
- Lead mega technology/digital transformational projects at a strategic and national level in
the related industry in Jordan. - Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive technology/digital strategy
aligned with the company’s overall future vision and objectives. - Work and coordinate with national agencies, government, and security entities to achieve
successful cooperation and execution of the company’s future strategy and initiatives. - Ensures compliance with national laws and regulations applied to the role and its
responsibilities and the company’s IT/Digital services. - Ability to Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to the Insurtech field and
the possibility of applying them. - Serves as liaison between the business in the Company and the IT Directorate, and work
with the business owners in other directorates to address their business needs (IT
Enablement for the Business). - Manage and oversee, through staff or contractors, the day-to-day operations and provide
the senior executives with reports and dashboards as needed (This includes different
levels: Applications, Data, Integration, Security, Infrastructure and Network, etc. …). - Collaborate with executive leadership on the planning and launch of end-to-end quality
improvement programs and projects. - Knowledge and experience in implementing a wide range of international framework and
standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, etc. and experience in leading
technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft, etc. … - Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within IT Directorate
- Mentor, coach and develop talent within IT Directorate
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or
any relevant degree. - Post graduate degree and/or MBA is considered a plus
- Any PMI Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-RMP, etc. … are a plus
- Holds Certifications in the technology filed such as; TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001,
ECS, CISSP, etc. … - Holds Oracle development certification.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in IT field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in managing mega strategic projects.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the leadership level.
- Strong leadership and project/program management skills.
- Strong communication skills both in Arabic English.
- Ability to lead/work on different projects/initiatives simultaneously.
