Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process for guests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints, providing appropriate solutions or referring them to the
relevant department.
• Answer phone calls, direct calls, and take messages as needed.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
• Maintain the front desk area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Assist guests with transportation and luggage when necessary.
• Provide concierge services, such as booking tours, making restaurant reservations, and arranging
transportation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or related field
preferred.
• Proven experience as a front desk agent or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
