Responsibilities

Lead and manage the structural engineering department, ensuring high-quality design and project delivery.

Oversee structural design activities across all project phases, from concept to execution.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and reports in compliance with international codes and standards.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the structural team.

Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Represent the department in meetings and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Revit, and AutoCAD.
-
In-depth knowledge of international design codes and construction standards.
-
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
-
Registered as Head of Specialty with the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA).
