Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for API, UI, mobile, performance, and security testing.
- Lead by example through hands-on test automation development, advanced troubleshooting, and complex problem-solving.
- Implement and optimize AI-powered testing solutions to accelerate test execution, improve coverage, and reduce test creation time.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates and continuous validation.
- Conduct performance, load, and scalability testing to validate system reliability and enterprise readiness.
- Perform advanced root cause analysis for critical defects and production issues, ensuring long-term quality improvements.
- Lead security testing initiatives using OWASP tools and vulnerability assessment techniques.
- Leverage AI and machine learning tools for intelligent test case generation, self-healing automation, and regression optimization.
- Guide and mentor team members on automation best practices, AI tool usage, and advanced testing methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and architecture teams on test strategy, quality requirements, documentation, and sprint planning.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in test automation development and designing scalable automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured, with solid programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, test plans, repositories, and CI/CD integration.
- Strong experience in API testing, performance testing, and security testing using tools such as Postman, JMeter, k6, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Suite.
- Proven hands-on experience using AI-powered testing tools, with demonstrated ability to reduce test creation time by 30–50% through intelligent automation and self-healing solutions.
- Strong database testing skills across SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance hands-on technical work and team mentorship while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
