Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in remittance, foreign exchange, and payment services.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic business planning.
  • Achieve growth targets by expanding both corporate and individual customer portfolios.
  • Build and maintain strategic alliances with banks, fintech firms, and international partners.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, expatriate communities, and institutional partners.
  • Promote products and services through direct sales, marketing campaigns, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client and partner correspondence, ensuring effective coordination with financial institutions.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Ensure high standards of customer experience and service delivery.
  • Prepare business proposals, feasibility studies, and performance reports for management.
  • Monitor and evaluate business performance against objectives and targets.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of digital initiatives such as mobile remittance and digital wallets.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, including AML/CFT policies.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to maintain risk-free and ethical operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all client interactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or corporate sales within the exchange, remittance, or financial services sector in Qatar or the GCC.
  • Strong understanding of remittance channels, foreign exchange markets, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and business growth targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
