Software Quality Assurance Engineer

- Review functional and technical specifications to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
- Identify test requirements and translate them into detailed test cases and test coverage plans.
- Execute software testing activities including smoke, functional, and regression testing.
- Perform testing on mobile devices and telecom services (5G, LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi).
- Report, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Monitor defect status and follow up with development teams until resolution.
- Support field testing activities such as drive testing, throughput testing, and intra-RAT testing.
- Validate telecom operators’ network readiness prior to service launch.
- Ensure testing activities are completed according to defined timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a relevant field.
- Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or related roles.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to clearly document test cases, defects, and results.
- Willingness to participate in field testing activities when required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of telecom technologies (5G, LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi) is a plus.
