Responsibilities

Design and develop integrations using HL7 v2, FHIR (XML & JSON), CSV, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.

Engineer data transformation pipelines, message routing systems, and implement error handling mechanisms.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define interface specifications and ensure accurate data exchange.

Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as FHIR, HIPAA, and industry best practices.

Conduct unit testing, system testing, and troubleshooting of integration issues.

Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent future failures.

Monitor real-time interface transactions, deploy solutions, and ensure optimal integration performance.

Participate in on-call rotations for mission-critical healthcare integrations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certified Rhapsody Integration credential (Required).

2-3 years of hands-on experience with the Rhapsody Integration Engine.

Strong proficiency in HL7 v2.x message processing, FHIR (XML & JSON), and REST/SOAP Web Services.

Experience with data transformation techniques and integrating complex systems.

Working knowledge of SQL for database integrations and data validation.

Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript for complex data transformations.

Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control systems.
