Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and specifications.
Manage all procurement processes including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and tendering.
Oversee and guide the work of procurement and purchasing staff across departments.
Analyze and identify areas for improvement in cost, quality, or delivery time.
Lead and coordinate procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
Create and implement procurement policies, risk management protocols, and compliance procedures.
Ensure the organization receives optimal value in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, including leadership roles.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proven experience in vendor evaluation and tendering processes.
Ability to lead teams and manage procurement activities across multiple departments.
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and supply chain systems.
Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, risk management, and market trends.
