Responsibilities:
Create project plans, schedules, and budgets
Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project specifications
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
Identify potential risks or delays and develop contingency plans
Analyze data and provide regular reports on project status
Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
Familiarity with relevant software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational abilities
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
Professional certifications or licenses are a plus
