Responsibilities
- Lead a team involved in the customization/implementation of the Web application as per the client’s requirements.
- Coordinate with team members to perform in-depth unit testing for modified and new systems.
- Encourage and motivate team members to achieve common team objectives.
- Assist the HR team with the hiring process and training of recruits.
- Monitor team performance metrics and take corrective actions if necessary.
- Ensure successful application customization by coordinating client requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Provided support to the client on customized applications, such as troubleshooting and resolution to technical bugs and CRs.
- Research, analyze, and evaluate the latest Java application development trends and new software functionalities.
- Develop modular and reusable code to reduce the efforts and development period during succeeding developments.
- Coordinate with business analysts/ department heads to prepare a timeframe for CRs.
- Design guidelines, best practices, and standards that will reduce the cycle time, achieve on-time delivery and ensure first-time-right solutions.
- Communicate and engage with the stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure customizations are aligned with customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing Java applications (At least 3 years of experience).
- Proven experience in HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Object-Oriented Programming.
- Familiar with the Java ecosystem.
- Experience with popular web application frameworks and Java tools.
- Problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
- Cohesive team worker with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical details in a simple manner.
- Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related subjects.
